Had some bread and other stuff to get rid of before I left for Christmas so I made french bread pizzas for dinner tonight. Four kinds, from left to right: basic pepperoni, pepperoni w/ crimini mushrooms, capicola, and the last one has no marinara sauce, but a spread made from shallots and garlic sauteed in rendered bacon fat, topped with mozzarella cheese, bacon, and crimini mushrooms.
